Came back from a CS 5 Roadshow and Dreamweaver CS 4 decides to go a bit wonky.
The following translators were not loaded due to errors:
Server Model SSI.htm: has configuration information that is invalid.
Fixing it with these steps (thanks to Sachin (link))
- Close Dreamweaver, if it is already open.
- Open this folder: “C:Documents and Settings[username]Application DataAdobeDreamweaver CS4en_USConfiguration”
- Delete the file “WinFileCache-7A9586CB.dat“
- Start Dreamweaver
The WinFileCache-7A9586CB.dat doesnt exist in that folder?
I’ve also changed the configurations to show hidden files.. but that file still doesn’t appear… how can i fix this problem?
sorry naomi, have since moved to CS5 and not able to help much with this issue.

I found a WinfileCache#####.dat file in a different directory… I deleted it and the problem was solved.
Say, you’re logged on as Owner… then u’d go to C:Documents and Settings/Owner/Application Data/Adobe/DreamweaverCS4/en_US/Configuration
Thanks, problem solved. Naomi – just remove the WinFileCachexxxx.dat file, whatever the numbers are.
Thanks for the fix! I found my dat file under:
C:UsersElliotAppDataRoamingAdobeDreamweaver CS4en_USConfiguration
I used a slightly different path to find the WinFileCache#####.dat file.
If you get this problem, it is simply a matter of finding the above file and deleting it.
Here is the path I used – C:/users/ownernamehere/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Dreamweaver CS4/en_US/Configuration
By the way, thank you for your information on this webpage.
Thx, its work well.
Thanks, this worked a treat!
Thanks! This fixed a problem that was plaguing me for a few days. Couldn’t open or save without an error and could not copy/paste at all. Thank goodness it’s fixed!
